This project was a lot of fun to work on. It was a next gen project that was cancelled back in 2012, and would have been one of the first Unreal Engine 4 games out there. I worked with a talented group of artists, only four of us dedicated to this project, we were able to crank everything we did in just a matter of weeks. At the time UE4 was not out in public and was only available to some developers and studios, so all we had was incomplete documentation to reference and go on. I personally enjoyed the discovery of the engine and its features, was a lot of fun figuring it all out.
I was responsible for all the VFX, including volumetric lighting, particle systems, etc.
